Recently, as a key hub in the southwest deployment of the “Xinghuo Chain Network,” the “Xinghuo Chain Network” (Chengdu) Supernode, rooted in Chengdu Hi-tech Zone, had recorded more than 200 million on-chain BID evidence-preservation records and connected more than 700 enterprises, accelerating the release of the value of local data elements. At the same time, the Chengdu Supernode Exhibition and Experience Center opened to the public, systematically presenting the technology system, application ecosystem and development achievements of the “Xinghuo Chain Network.”

In the data age, how can you obtain your trusted “data identity card”? As China vigorously builds new digital infrastructure, the “Xinghuo Chain Network” is a new innovative exploration based on industrial Internet identifier resolution, developing distributed identifiers and blockchain as infrastructure. Specifically, industrial Internet identifier resolution gives every object in the physical world an “identity card” covering its full life cycle. A machine, a component and a delivery parcel, for example, each has a unique number. On this basis, the Xinghuo Chain Network gives every digital object in digital space an identity card. A digital file, a data item, a virtual device and a digital model can also have a unique identity and be tracked, verified and managed. This bridges physical and digital space - what is known as a digital twin.
The “Xinghuo Chain Network” is a national blockchain data network developed under the guidance and support of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and initiated by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT). Relying on technologies including distributed identifiers (DID), blockchain and artificial intelligence, it has built a “1+N” two-tier architecture of main and subchain clusters, forming service capabilities based on “single-point access and whole-network interconnection.” To date, supernodes have been deployed in 11 cities nationwide, nine of which have been completed; backbone nodes cover more than 60 cities, and the network effect of scale continues to grow.
Among them, the “Xinghuo Chain Network” (Chengdu) Supernode, rooted in Chengdu Hi-tech Zone, connects the east and west and links the north and south. It adopts an innovative operating model of “one node, one platform, one center and one alliance,” providing a solid foundation for the development of the digital economy in southwest China. The node continues to strengthen a trusted data foundation and expand cross-regional collaboration, making substantive progress in trusted evidence preservation, digital-asset registration and multi-industry scenario deployment. It provides strong technical support for the high-quality development of the digital economy in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and the development of the national hub node of the national integrated computing-power network.

Address: First Floor, Building A3, AI Innovation Center, Xinchuan Innovation and Technology Park
The Exhibition and Experience Center of the “Xinghuo Chain Network” (Chengdu) Supernode is jointly operated by the CAICT Digital Economy (Chengdu) Innovation Center and multiple partners. It serves as an important exhibition window for the “Xinghuo Chain Network” system in southwest China.
The center features sections on real-time monitoring, artificial intelligence, intelligent computing, data empowerment, the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, Xinghuo International, talent development, ecosystem partners, and strategic planning and development vision. Each section is equipped with a large display. The real-time monitoring screen presents on-chain transaction data dynamically, systematically showcasing the technology system, application ecosystem and development achievements of the “Xinghuo Chain Network.”

Accelerating the Release of Data-Element Value
Around core capabilities such as digital identity, trusted evidence preservation and digital assets, the public service system of the “Xinghuo Chain Network” continues to improve, accelerating large-scale application. Its Digital Native Asset (DNA) service addresses asset digitization and digital-asset application scenarios, providing services including digital-asset registration, rights confirmation, circulation, asset management, monitoring and regulation. It has also cooperated with platforms such as Xinhua Net, CCTV.com, Guangming Online, iQIYI and Artron Metaverse. Its trusted evidence preservation service (CAP) provides enterprise users with convenient electronic-data evidence preservation and verification, ensuring that digital information leaves a trace and can be checked against evidence.
To support market-based allocation of data elements, the “Xinghuo Chain Network” uses city nodes for data-asset registration and an open platform as the vehicle for innovative data services. At present, the Chengdu node has reached cooperation agreements with data bureaus in Shenyang, Hohhot and Kunming, among other places, and has launched city nodes for data-asset registration. It provides full-chain services including data access, asset registration, rights confirmation, valuation and balance-sheet recognition, and trading and circulation. It also relies on the registration platform to provide data services for governments and industries in multiple locations.
In addition, relying on its underlying technical capabilities, the “Xinghuo Chain Network” is empowering multiple scenarios, with applications flourishing across locations.
In green and low-carbon fields, its carbon-data service network covers 478 parks nationwide and has preserved evidence of more than 9,000 tonnes of carbon-dioxide equivalent in emissions reductions.
In culture and tourism, during the 2024 Spring Festival it worked with the Yangbo Digital Culture and Arts Museum of China Media Group to issue digital tickets, ensuring ticket uniqueness and assetization. Partner scenic spots span 70 sites in 17 provinces and municipalities nationwide. More than 2.08 million digital tickets were minted, with a total value of RMB 150 million. The project was promoted in a spoken segment of CCTV’s Spring Festival Gala for the Year of the Dragon and became a benchmark for the circulation of cultural digital assets.
In the judicial field, more than 2 million evidence-preservation records have been put on chain, serving multiple notary offices, judicial appraisal institutions and courts.
In the financial field, insurance policies and letters of guarantee from more than 10 member companies of the Xinjiang Insurance Association have been put on chain, using blockchain’s tamper-proof nature to safeguard judicial fairness and financial security.
In the fire and emergency-response field, it works with partners such as Zhong’an Interconnection. Using industrial Internet identifiers and blockchain as core technical foundations, the partners jointly develop large-scale applications for typical scenarios and advance the development of the Sichuan Key Laboratory of Fire Safety for Oil and Gas.
In the data-elements field, it has worked with institutions including the Information Center of West China Hospital and the West China Breast Institute to jointly organize applications for high-quality datasets in the medical sector. Using the Chengdu Supernode as the data foundation and adding industry foundation models and supercomputing power, the partners are making medical-data transactions and circulation more trustworthy.
The Chengdu Supernode has also explored cooperation with departments and enterprises including the Chengdu Customs Technical Center, an embodied-intelligence robotics company and Sichuan Cultural Big Data Co., Ltd. in areas such as implementing digital passports at Chengdu Customs, data-security trends and solutions.
