Selected as a National Pilot for Computing-Power Network Standards!

Chengdu Hi-tech Zone Enterprises Deeply Participate in Building a National System

Recently, at the Data Infrastructure and Data Standardization Exchange Event of the 2026 China International Big Data Industry Expo, the list of pilot organizations for standards verification in the national integrated computing-power network was officially released. Zhisuanyunteng (Chengdu) Technology Co., Ltd. from Chengdu Hi-tech Zone was selected, marking national-level authoritative recognition of the computing-network operations and standardization capabilities of Chengdu Hi-tech Zone enterprises.

It is understood that the pilot for standards verification of the national integrated computing-power network is organized by the National Technical Committee on Data Standardization. It is an important step in implementing the national 15th Five-Year Plan Outline and advancing the “East-to-West Computing” project. The pilot aims to solve practical problems in the computing-power industry, including fragmentation, non-interoperable scheduling, inconsistent metrics and non-standardized operations. It verifies standard metrics through testing in real business scenarios and produces replicable and scalable standards for construction and operations.

Zhisuanyunteng is undertaking standards-verification tasks for two standards: Interface Requirements for Computing Power Monitoring in the National Integrated Computing Network and Requirements for Computing Center Capability Assessment in the National Integrated Computing Network. During the pilot period, it will use the real production environment of the Chengdu Intelligent Computing Center it operates to conduct adaptation testing for computing-power monitoring interfaces and actual testing of the computing-center capability assessment system, collect frontline operational data and provide industry-practice feedback, offering practical support from the western front line of the industry for the iterative improvement of relevant national computing-power network standards.

Chengdu Intelligent Computing Center is located at the Chengdu-Chongqing national hub node of the “East-to-West Computing” project. It is the first major intelligent computing-power infrastructure in the Tianfu Data Center Cluster and is connected to the China Computing Network. It has successively been recognized as the first National New-Generation Artificial Intelligence Public Computing Power Open Innovation Platform in Southwest China and an Outstanding Application Case of the National Integrated Computing Power Network. Over the years, it has accumulated extensive practical experience in computing-power monitoring and computing-center assessment, fully matching the testing and verification requirements of the two standards on monitoring interfaces and computing-center capability assessment.

Computing Power Goes Beyond Server Rooms!

Domestic Ascend Computing Power Powers Digital Cultural and Creative AI Comic Drama Production

The value of computing power is ultimately realized in industrial scenarios. On September 6, The Realm of Devouring, the country’s first complete AI comic drama series produced throughout the entire process using Ascend 910A computing power, began streaming. The 20-episode series contains approximately 1,600 shots, and its computing foundation also comes from Chengdu Intelligent Computing Center in Chengdu Hi-tech Zone. This series is a snapshot of how domestic computing power is empowering the digital cultural and creative industry in Chengdu Hi-tech Zone.

AI video generation is different from ordinary text creation. Grand battle scenes, nuanced character emotions and special-effects shots all require massive parallel computing, posing stringent tests for computing-power stability and operator optimization. The Realm of Devouring was produced end to end by an individual creator on the Xinghai Intelligent Computing Ecosystem Platform. The platform was jointly developed by Chengdu Intelligent Computing Center and Zhejiang Jusuan Technology using domestic Ascend 910A computing power. From “a stunning single shot” to “stability across an entire series,” and from underlying operators to end-to-end optimization, the successful launch of The Realm of Devouring also marks the first time domestic computing power has stably supported the large-scale production tasks of a commercial-grade video-generation foundation model.

According to reports, the Xinghai Intelligent Computing Ecosystem Platform completed in-depth operator optimization of the MiniMax H3 all-modality generation system, significantly improving computing-power utilization efficiency. It brought the production cost of high-quality AI short dramas down to as little as RMB 40 per minute, far below the industry’s typical level of RMB 90-200 per minute. “The AI comic drama is only the beginning. The platform will open up to scenarios such as television and film short dramas, e-commerce marketing, animated series and industry-education collaboration at universities,” said a relevant official of Chengdu Intelligent Computing Center. Going forward, it will continue working with ecosystem partners, build on domestic Ascend computing power and provide the industry with low-cost, zero-barrier AI content-production services, so good ideas are no longer constrained by budgets and entry barriers.

Strengthening the Foundations of the Industrial Ecosystem

Chengdu Hi-tech Zone Sets Its Sights on the Future of the Computing-Power Industry

Local enterprises’ deep participation in building the national computing-power system and computing power becoming a tangible production tool in the hands of content creators reflect the steadily improving business environment and industrial foundation Chengdu Hi-tech Zone has built for the computing-power industry.

As of the end of August 2026, Chengdu Hi-tech Zone had built three large and super-large computing centers: Chengdu Intelligent Computing Center, Alibaba Cloud Chengdu Intelligent Computing Base and China Telecom Western Information Center.
